Dr. Sayantan Mukherjee is a versatile Applied Linguist, Educator, English Language Professional, and Researcher with a demonstrated history in the higher education industry. He is currently working as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Indore, where he is responsible for teaching and mentoring students in various courses related to language and communication. Dr. Mukherjee is a curious individual who is driven to unpack social phenomena that are comprised of complex layers of human language, context, ideology, culture, communication, and multiple modalities. He has a strong research background and has published several papers in reputed journals. His research interests include discourse analysis, critical discourse analysis, multimodal analysis, and sociolinguistics. In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Mukherjee has also worked in the industry as a Lead Developer in the ELA Team at Byju's, where he was responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve the English language learning experience of students. Prior to this, he worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University and as a Junior Research Fellow at Delhi University. Dr. Mukherjee holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Arizona State University, a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Linguistics from Delhi University, a Master of Arts (MA) in Linguistics from Delhi University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA), Honours in English Literature from Visva Bharati, Shantiniketan. Dr. Mukherjee is a skilled researcher and has experience in using various research methodologies and tools. He is also proficient in programming languages such as Python and R. His technical skills and research expertise make him a valuable asset to any organization. Dr. Mukherjee has 3.02 years of relevant experience and is committed to pursuing a fulfilling career in academia.
